Treatment & Therapy
Patient-Centered Treatment
I take the time to understand the root of your problem in order to provide the best and most effective treatment. Through my years of experience, I’ve found that Treatment & Therapy is a crucial part of the recovery process. Stretching, strengthening, mobilization’s, NDT principles, and modalities as needed.
Assessment & Diagnosis
The Tools You Need
Assessment & Diagnosis forms an integral part of my approach to treating the whole body, not just a complaint in isolation. This service is fundamental to ensuring my patients’ long-term health and wellness. I can help assess sprains, strains, recovery from surgery, fractures, acute medical, stroke and neurological conditions. I have worked with day old infants to clients in the late 90's.
Continued Care
Putting You First
I hear your story and take a detailed history. To that end, I create an individualized treatment plan including Continued Care aimed at achieving the functional goals we set together. Goals are individualized to the clients condition and their specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time sensitive concerns.
If you would like to set up a time to have an initial assessment and treatment, then please contact me to find out how I may be of assistance with your road to recovery.
About Me
Here to Help
I grew up on a tobacco farm south of Tillsonburg. I started at an early age to learn about a strong work ethic and working as a team with my family and other farm workers to get the job/task done safely and in a timely fashion. I also found myself having more than a few of my own injuries on the farm that needed some attention and therapy. As Stompin Tom said about Tillsonburg, "My back still aches when I hear that word!"
I enjoyed playing hockey, football, rowing, squash, cycling, cross country skiing, snowboarding and dirt bike riding.
Today I continue to enjoy jogging, kayaking, cross country skiing, hiking, walking, swimming, cycling, snow boarding and spending time with my wife and 3 children.
I graduated with an Honours Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo in 2001. I then graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s of Physical Therapy (MScPT) in 2003.
My wife and I moved to Brantford in 2004 to start my physio career at the Brantford General Hospital. I have provided both assessments and treatments for clients from infants to the elderly in both acute care and general orthopaedic and neuro/stroke rehab settings in hospitals (in Brantford and Woodstock) and various outpatient clinics.I have 19 years experience as a physiotherapist and have a strong passion to help all of my clients recover from illness, injury, surgery along the continuum of care.I am excited to assess and treat clients in the comfort of their own homes.
